What the tools do—and do not do
The calculators help organize measurements and estimate common layouts. They do not inspect your property, identify hidden conditions, select products, issue permits, or replace a qualified engineer, architect, contractor, surveyor, electrician, plumber, or local building official.
Actual field dimensions, manufacturer instructions, product specifications, and locally adopted codes always control the project.
Current calculator library
The released library includes board-and-batten spacing, fence-picket spacing, gallery-wall layout, deck-material estimating, roof-pitch measurement, and deck-joist sizing tools. New calculators are published only after their formulas, content, diagrams, validation, and tests are complete.
